Ok, so the fact that you found me here is really magical! I've been day-dreaming about starting an interior design blog for years- I'm talking over a decade at this point. I even started one a few times, but it always took a backseat to my wedding planning day job and I never seemed to have enough time to dedicate to my real passion (this!). I've always known interior design was my passion, I got a degree in it for goodness sakes! But life took me on a different path and I spent ten years building a wedding planning business- it was a dream job and I loved every minute of it, but I kept having this nagging feeling in the back of my head that it wasn't what I was actually meant to be doing. But I did that thing- you know, where you get comfortable and you have it all figured out, and all those things you worked so hard for are now coming so easy... I had a beautiful office, the clients were rolling in, I had weddings booked over a year in advance, and I was still able to pick up my kids from school almost everyday. It was everything I had thought I wanted...except that it wasn't. So last year, I decided to give it all up and go ALL IN on this harebrained interior design dream of mine. Join me in this new adventure as I work to make over our home room-by-room (and on a serious budget). My goal is to share every step of the process as I design, DIY, and decorate my heart out, and maybe, just maybe, inspire you to tackle some of those projects you've been putting off in your own home.
