My Favorite Blue Paint Colors
If you've been here for any amount of time at all you know I have an ongoing love affair with the color blue. Many of the walls in my home are painted blue and I get asked all the time what colors of paint I've used in each room so I thought it was time to make a resource of all of my favorite blue paint colors! The first half are colors that we've used in our own home (and obviously love) and then the second half are colors that I have bookmarked/saved that I love and may decide to use somewhere in the future!
Blue paint colors I've used in our home:
I loved the Farrow and Ball color De Nimes so much I used it in two rooms (a common occurrence around here). On our bedroom walls (above) and also on the top third of Lincoln's walls and ceiling (as seen below).
In our breakfast nook I used Farrow and Ball Parma Gray, which is a beautiful light blue color.
I also found myself loving this image below of Jewel Marlowe's home and I asked her what paint color it was...
sure enough, it was Parma Gray.
I fell in love with the Sherwin Williams color Debonair when we painted it in Phoenix's room, so when it was time to paint the dining room it was at the top of my list.
I still ended up testing twelve other samples, but I landed on a slightly lightened version of Debonair (lightened by 50%) for the dining room walls.
Blue paint colors I've seen and loved:
I immediately saved this image from The DIY Playbook when I saw it on instagram. It's a very muted grey blue and so so pretty.
Going into some darker tones now, Jewel Marlowe loves blue paint almost as much as I do and the Stiffkey Blue she did in her husband's office is so dreamy.
I absolutely love how much dimension this Gentlemen's Gray has in this room, I can tell it's one of those colors that changes with the light and would be so good for a moody space.

The prettiest light blue, it reminds me of Parma Gray and would be a great budget friendly option! Do you have any favorite blue paint colors I need to add to my list?
